Confirm your airport first
KIX is Kansai International Airport; ITM is Osaka Itami Airport. Check the terminal, landing time, bags and each traveller’s ability to carry luggage before choosing transport.
Save the property address and booking offline: 5-8-12 Nakanomachi, Miyakojima-ku, Osaka 534-0027. Allow time for immigration, baggage, queues, transfers and walking, not just the airport train.

Finding the train at KIX
Kansai Airport Station connects to level 2 of Terminal 1 and Aeroplaza. From Terminal 2, follow the shuttle signs to Aeroplaza before continuing to the station.
JR and Nankai are different operators. Choose your route before buying a ticket, then check the gate, train name and destination. Follow lift signs when travelling with large cases.
JR via Osaka Station
One planning option is the Kansai Airport Rapid to Osaka, then an Osaka Loop Line service towards Kyobashi to Sakuranomiya. If live navigation offers a through service, verify that specific train’s stops before staying aboard.
HARUKA also serves Osaka but has different ticket, seating and platform arrangements. An IC card alone does not mean limited-express charges are covered. Compare station walking and transfers, not just the advertised train time.
Nankai via Namba
Nankai can suit a stop in Namba before check-in. Namba is not the property’s final station: continuing may involve the Midosuji Line to Umeda, a walk to JR Osaka and the Loop Line. Check each operator’s ticket coverage.
For a family heading straight to the house, compare the full journey’s transfers, luggage handling and cost. Rapi:t and the Airport Express have different ticket requirements; check the selected service before boarding.
ITM via Osaka / Umeda
Compare an Itami airport limousine bus to Osaka Station / Umeda, followed by JR to Sakuranomiya. Umeda has several drop-off points; check the exact stop and walk to JR Osaka.
Road traffic affects bus travel. Confirm departures and luggage rules with the operator. Kuanju does not provide airport pickup or book vehicles.
Late arrivals and luggage
Search the last connection using the time you expect to leave arrivals, not touchdown. If public transport may finish, arrange an appropriate licensed taxi or airport-area accommodation and message the host through your booking platform.
Check-in is from 16:00 and checkout before 11:00; changes need confirmation. The house has three storeys, upstairs bedrooms and no lift. Do not assume luggage storage is available.
Before the return flight
Recheck the route to the correct terminal the day before departure, including any Terminal 2 shuttle and the airline’s check-in requirements. Follow live instructions for transfers and train portions.
