Day 1: Osaka Castle and Dotonbori
Take the Loop Line to Osakajokoen and allow time to walk and rest in the park. Choose Namba and Dotonbori for the afternoon. With children, keep shopping flexible and dine early.
Day 2: USJ, or Umeda and the river
Give USJ a full day and check ticket and admission rules. For a gentler alternative, shop in Umeda and return for a riverside walk. Do not try to fit both into one day.
Day 3 / rain: aquarium and a pause
Consider Kaiyukan as your main indoor stop and check tickets first. Follow official weather and transport alerts during heavy rain or typhoons. Leave time for laundry, groceries and packing.
Osaka Station / Umeda
Sakuranomiya → Tenma → Osaka, then walk to your shopping or dining destination.
Osaka Castle
Osaka Loop Line to Osakajokoen, then walk into the park. Allow additional walking time to the castle tower.
Universal Studios Japan
Osaka Loop Line to Nishikujo, then JR Yumesaki Line to Universal City. Check and arrange park tickets separately.
Namba / Dotonbori
Via Osaka Station, walk to Umeda subway station and take the Midosuji Line to Namba, then walk to Dotonbori.
Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan
Osaka Loop Line to Bentencho, then subway Chuo Line to Osakako and walk to the aquarium.
